Due to changes in the law, cash bail and bail bonds are no longer available in New Jersey. While Judges in the New Jersey Superior Courts are to conduct a public-safety assessment based upon statutory factors for those individuals being charged with a serious crime, their pretrial release is often denied. As a result, a person, who is merely arrested, can spend months and years in jail awaiting trial. Only a die-hard prosecutor would tell you that this situation is fair. However, TBWD fights vigorously to have our clients released pre-trial.

It is important to remember that not everyone charged with a crime is guilty and even people with the best intentions make mistakes. We strive to lessen the impact.

No criminal accusation is too simple or too complex. If you or a loved one has been accused of a crime, contact us for a free consultation. Don’t wait any longer; the sooner we start building an aggressive legal defense, the better.
